If you book a room through an online travel agent such as Booking.com or Expedia.com, stricter cancellation conditions apply, compared to the rooms booked directly with us. We use the cancellation condition drawn up by the Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN).

You can check in from 3 pm. If you wish to check in after 9:30 pm, please contact the reception on the day of arrival.

Depending upon the availablilty, you can extend your stay until 2pm for a charge of €25.00.
The hotel does not have a lift. If you need help with your luggage, we are happy to help you. If you have mobility problems, please contact the reception via ++31 (70)354 01 93. before making your booking.
If you can find a parking space in the streets around the hotel, we can register your registration number for € 15.00 per day (valid from the moment of arrival until the following day at 12.00 hours).
You can also park in one of the parking garages in the neighborhood. Costs are between the € 15.90 and € 19.20 per 24 hours
The governement is currently working on the realization of the new boulevard of Scheveningen. The boulevard should be completed during spring 2019. If you have any questions about the accessibility, or want to know whether the work has consequences for your stay, please contact us.
The breakfast buffet, with sea view, will be served every morning in the restaurant from 07:30- 10:00 (weekends 08:30 - 10:30). Breakfast is included in the room rate.
We can provide a number of gluten and lactose free products for breakfast. Please inform us about your allergies before arrival, so we can make arrangements.
The Strandhotel traditionally consists of two villas. Many original details are still visible. Small steps, elevations and passageways, contribute to the atmospheric ambience, but also create a hotel that is poorly accessible for disabled people. However, the hotel has a number of hotel rooms directly on the street side; these rooms can be suitable for guests with a mobility problem. If you want to book a room, but you have limited mobility, please contact the reception by calling +31 (70)354 01 93.
Pets are not allowed in the hotel.
Due to the history of the building, all hotel rooms differ in size and layout. Some rooms have a balcony, a large bathroom, many windows, top floor, etc. It is possible to let us know your preferance, we will try to take your wishes in account. However, these requests are NEVER guaranteed. The room type being: single, budget, standard or sea view are the only guarantee.
For your convenience you can store your luggage with us before or after your stay.

The Beach clubs of Scheveningen are available from March to October. Close to the Strandhotel you can find Patagonia Beach. By presenting your room key, you can use their beach beds for free. We also recommend you to order something tasty from their versatile menu. You will receive a 10% discount on all the food.
